Quick Bump Update!

I figured I should post an update of my belly on here since people keep asking me.  I am definitely getting bigger and bigger!  I only have about 2 weeks to go though which sounds wonderful.  I'm really hoping I'm not overdue.  I'm ready to meet this little boy.

35 Weeks

37 Weeks
And just for fun... here I am at 20 weeks.  What a big difference 17 weeks can make!

Galvanic Spa Time!

Most of you don't know this, but Eric got a new job this summer at NuSkin doing Corporate Communications.  He does not do any sales so don't worry, I will not be inviting you over for "dinner" anytime soon.  This job is really great for him because it's actually in Corporate Communications, which he wants to do, and it's for a global company which will give him great experience.  This does mean that we will be living in Utah County for the next few years (or more).  It wasn't our ideal situation, but we are both very grateful for the job and the experience Eric will get.

Well, one of the many benefits of Eric working there is that I get to try out their many products.  It's actually been quite fun for me since I don't usually use expensive products on myself.  I have tried different cleansers, masks, lotions and I still have a lot to try.  One of the things that I really enjoy doing is their Galvanic Spa.  It's this little electronic device that "zaps" away your imperfections.  You put this pretreatment gel on your face, then use the machine, and then put treatment gel on your face and use the machine.  It's supposed to clear up your skin and reduce the signs of aging.  Don't mind if I do!  So far I think it works really well.  Seriously, if I have a zit coming in, if I do the spa, I can barely feel it the next day.  It's awesome.  I've been trying to do the spa every Sunday night just for fun.  I've tried to convince Eric that he wants to try out all of this stuff too, but he isn't caving...yet!  Luckily I have friends who are willing to try these things with me.  My friend Amber has been a great spa buddy.  She loves to try the stuff with me too, and it makes it more fun.  She also loves the Galvanic Spa, so one night we did it together.  How cute are we?

Action shot

Oh, I forgot to mention that both Brad Pitt and Nicole Kidman use the Galvanic Spa.  So pretty much I'm like a celebrity (in my dreams)!  Haha, anyways... so if you'd ever like to experiment with some facial products, let me know!  I am more than willing to have people come make their skin pretty with me.

I Seriously Have the Best Husband Ever!!

I know that I blog a lot about how great my husband is, and if that annoys you, then stop reading now.  He has just been so great during this whole pregnancy and I appreciate it so much.  I'm just going to give one example of why he's wonderful.  My feet have been swelling for the past month or so.  Even when my feet look normal they are still a little swollen.  It's not cool...  Anyways, for some reason my feet seem to get the biggest on Friday's.  I wonder if it's just the culmination of the work week that does it to me or something.  It's strange.  Well, two Friday's ago we were at Kohl's and I decided to try and find some shoes for work that would work with my large feet.  Well I found a cute little sandal thing, but they didn't have my size, so I grabbed a size up.  I took it out of the box, and attempted to get my foot in.  Well, it was not going to fit.  Being the emotional pregnant person I am, I started to cry.  Yes, in the middle of the shoe department I started to tear up.  I immediately took the shoe off and threw it in the box and got up to leave.  Eric tried to make me feel better but the tears kept coming.  He went to purchase our items while I hung out in the Junior section trying to compose myself.  We then got in the car to drive home.  Since I knew I was swollen I tried to take my ring off, but it was stuck.  Not the best idea when I was already crying.  I got it off but it hurt!  It was rough a twenty minutes for me.  Well, the best part comes the next day.  I was at my baby shower and Eric was helping at an event.  He knew of this cute little boutique nearby with cute jewelry, so he went in and bought me a necklace and a bracelet to make me feel better about the previous day's breakdown.  Now, I don't need people to buy me things to make me happy, but it was sure cute and thoughtful of him.  He really is sweet and I just love him.  Here's what he bought me.  I think he did a great job.  Thanks sweetie!

Baby Shower

On July 23rd, three of my great friends threw me a baby shower.  It was great to see some friends that I don't get to see very often.  We had some yummy food, cute decorations and played a couple of fun games.  We all won, which meant we all went home with tons of candy.  It was great!  I also got some really great baby stuff that I can't wait to use on this little guy!  I don't have any pictures from that day, but my friend Courtney took some, so once she sends them to me, then I will add them to this post (Hint Hint Courtney ;))  Thanks to everyone for coming and a special thank you to Amber, Kirsten and Lisa for putting the shower on.  You guys are the greatest!!

Here is a group shot of everyone there.  Love self-timers!

Where did all of your hair go?

That's the question that Eric has been asking me the past few days.  I cut my hair, and I had the girl cut it a little shorter than normal since my life might be quite crazy in the upcoming months.  I like it so far.  It's pretty much the same cut I usually get, so nothing drastic this time around.  I figured while I was showing my new haircut I might as well show my belly too.  So here you are, my new hair with a 33 week belly shot.

Hmmm, I took the second picture with my phone, and it won't let me turn it the right way.  So, have fun looking at it sideways!  It's a much better shot of what my hair actually looks like so move that neck and take a look. (You may also want to click on it to enlarge it.)  Oh, and I'm also standing a little sideways in case you're wondering why my belly looks lopsided!

Happy Monday!
